Croquettes may sound French but any Dutch person will know exactly what you are talking about if you offer a “broodje croquette“. Made with minced meat in a seasoned roue that is rolled, breaded and deep fried then served on a soft roll and mustard this is quintessential Dutch fare. When we were young we ate these at fundraising bazaars and at New Years. Now that they are available prefried, we enjoy them any time of the year. Bitterballen are the same recipe but shaped in balls and are served as appetizers.
We sell two brands of croquettes. Roos have a finer crumb than the other brand.

You can pre-order for pick-up or drop-off in our delivery areas OR make arrangements with us to have your order shipped. We strive to keep the prices in our online store current but as a small retailer it is impossible for us to be 100% accurate for the 1000+ products we list. Products with variable sizes like meat and cheese products will reflect approximate prices.
Therefore, as you shop your “total order” will be an APPROXIMATE total. After you submit your order, we will communicate with you about shipping costs and any pertinent stock or price updates. Once you have said you wish to proceed we will send you an order summary. You will then be able to pay by eTransfer or call us with a credit card payment.
