Sugar free Marie Cookies by Cuétara

The Marie biscuit has a celebrated history. In 1874 Peek Freans created it to celebrate the marriage of the Duke of Edinburgh to Maria Alexandrovna the Grand Duchess of Russia. It didn’t take long to be known all over Europe. Apparently, it became especially popular in Spain after bakeries used this long keeping biscuit to use up an over abundant wheat harvest. Cuetara Marie biscuits are still made in Spain. This variety has no sugar added. Perfect for dunking in your tea!

Oh Canada! We can only accept Canadian orders

Our online store is set up to allow you to browse our European Pantry shelves from the comfort of your home. It also enables you to pre-order and make arrangements for pick-up or drop-off in our delivery areas. We strive to keep the prices listed on our online store current but as a small retailer it is impossible for us to be 100% accurate for the 1000+ products we list. Furthermore, package weight variations for meat and cheese products make it impossible to provide accurate fixed prices.

Therefore, as you shop your “total order” will be an APPROXIMATE total. After you submit your order, we will communicate any changes in pricing as well as the actual prices of weighed items. You will then be able to confirm your order and arrange payment. Thank you for shopping with us! We hope it is a pleasant experience. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our products or our ordering process.
